The 1 A.M. poem

It?s 1 o?clock of the A.M.
And all I can think of, is
How,
Much,
I,
Miss,
This?

That emotional, semi traumatic,
Euphoric absorption that my mind experiences when it enjoys it?s solitude and a cheap bottle of wine,
The only thing I am missing for this brew is;
The right kinds of friends,
You know,
The ones that make your insides turn upside down,
Causing you to wonder if you are homosexual,
Then you realize that people of the same sex can be loved,
That bond that you usually save for that soul mate can be extended onto those few special friends,
Of course you don?t have those sexual urges but those mental urges to connect remain intact.

To find that one person that constantly challenges your mind is nothing more than a unbounded present.
I know that my block of writing has been at its greatest because you two guys haven?t been around.
And I feel that my true inner beauty has hidden itself.
It?s scared and feel?s un-reached,
You are the spark to my flame.

what's with the small diatribe towards the end?
it left me scratching my head.

yeah, the ending was somewhat adbrupt...

but i will say this is some subject to tackle...

everyone has those thoughts and well, you told us how you felt and why it was okay...love is felt between all humans, no matter what the sexes are..

and i dig the word choice.
